Man shoots self in leg while removing corn from his boot

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – Police say a man accidentally shot himself in the leg while attending a fall festival attraction last Saturday.

A police report said a 38-year-old man from Circle Pines shot himself just before noon. The man had gone through a corn maze and was removing corn from his boot when the handgun discharged. He suffered a bullet wound to an upper part of  his leg.

Police say the man had a concealed carry permit.
