MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – An electrical fire at a Minot hospital caused the evacuation of the building’s third floor yesterday afternoon.
The Minot Fire Department responded to Trinity Hospital just before 2pm Tuesday for a report of a small explosion on the third floor with active smoke and fire. Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames and contained the fire to an electrical panel.
The hospital’s third floor was evacuated and search and rescue efforts were conducted on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors. All patients and personnel got out safely and no injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
