GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics)– Regular season hockey is here, as No. 3 North Dakota opens with a home series against Holy Cross beginning on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action and is joined by his new partner in the booth, Travis Dunn.
Friday marks the fifth time North Dakota and Holy Cross are set to meet, with UND winning the previous four matchups.
The last time Holy Cross made the trek to Grand Forks was Jan. 4-5, 2013 when North Dakota picked up a sweep by 5-2 and 3-2 scores.
The two teams have met twice in the NCAA tournament, with the Fighting Sioux winning, 3-0, in 2004 and again, 5-2, in an infamous regional in 2006 at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
