ST. PAUL, Minn. – The DNR says its annual roadside survey indicates Minnesota’s pheasant numbers have increased 18% from last year and exceeded the ten-year average by a similar amount.
When the season opens October 15, pheasant hunters can expect strong numbers of birds.
The DNR says the weather cooperated this year to produce favorable nesting conditions.
