ST. PAUL, Minn. – A lawsuit challenging the Minnesota age limit on who can own a gun is going to trial. Three Minnesotans under the age of 21 are taking legal action. They argue that the age limit violates the Second Amendment rights of 18-to-20 year old adults. Attorneys representing the state say the restriction is justified because those under 21 offer a greater risk of violence involving firearms. A federal judge will hear arguments in St. Paul on October 4th.
