(KFGO/KNFL) Kevin McGovern won his 10th game of the season as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks earned a 6-2 win over Kansas City on Friday night.
With the win, the RedHawks are one win away from clinching the American Association’s West Division title.
McGovern pitched 5 2/3 innings and two runs on four hits and four walks. Despite six walks, the Fargo-Moorhead bullpen followed up with 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Kansas City left 15 runners on base in the game.
Peter Maris, Manny Boscan, and Nick Novak homered for Fargo-Moorhead (64-33)
