
WATFORD CITY, N.D. (KFGO) – The name of the man who died after his pickup crashed in rural McKenzie County in northwest North Dakota around 6 Friday morning has been released.
The 24-year-old Errol Malone Jr. of Minot, N.D., failed to navigate a curve and drove off the road, overturning in the north ditch, then striking a fence – coming to rest upright.
Malone Jr., who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected as the pickup overturned and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle. This crash is pending investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
