Jason Noyes
EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (KFGO) – A Grand Forks man has been arrested after a woman reported that he threatened to rape her in a restroom at River Cinema on Sat. in East Grand Forks. Police later arrested Jason Noyes at his home.
The victim said she came out of a stall in the women’s restroom and was confronted by a man with his pants down, holding a knife.
When he grabbed her wrist, she was able to fight him off and run out of the bathroom. Other people outside the restroom said that the woman was yelling for help. Police say Noyes dropped a backpack as he got away on a bike.
Security video and a photo lineup led to the arrest of Noyes. He was arrested for attempted sexual assault.
