My guest today has truly made the most of each New Day. He’s hit the refresh key on life and now, he’s leading the way to help those who’ve been incarcerated or suffer with an addiction, discover the power to change and make a better life.
Founder and CEO of the non-profit, F5 Project, Adam Martin believes everyone deserves grace. He’s built an organization of criminal justice reform warriors that are giving second chances to those who hustle, with the goal to change the stigma of felons and addicts, to impact our community for generations to come.
Adam Martin may not be your ‘typical’ entrepreneur, however, what is typical anyway?! Sure, he has a colorful past consisting of 5 Felonies (hence the name F5), however, F5 is also the refresh key on the keyboard, which is exactly what Adam has done with his life and the non-profit organization he has created. He’s a change agent on a mission to change lives, change our community, and he’s not stopping there!
After his last time in jail, Adam was fortunate to receive grace, a great job and an opportunity to turn his ‘mess’ into his message. That opportunity didn’t come without a risk, a risk of leaving a stable job and the many obstacles and challenges that would come after.
The F5 Project was formed to help people that were coming directly out
of jail, and prison overcome the serious roadblocks they faced after coming out of jail. Through F5’s 5 pillars, (Communication, Housing, Employment, Healthy Socialization, Transportation) Adam and his team have been able to help well over 300 Felons successfully have a second chance at a better life. “With the smallest of help, these men and women have enough drive and energy to make an astounding, positive, impact on their community” Martin Says. Adam views the world from a positive lens. He sets out to prove the impossible – possible.
Watch or listen to my interview with Adam Martin and discover the risks he took, the challenges he faced and how he is overcoming these and has branched out into 8 different cities already.
F5 Project is making an impact in the communities they serve and looks to continue the mission of helping felons across the U.S.. Changing the world’s perception of Felons, one day at a time.
My interview with Adam is inspiring, encouraging and motivating! He’s proof that anyone can make a difference and an impact, when you choose to hustle and work hard.
“The best part, is when I get to see the positive change in someone’s family, employer, or community!” “It’s the catalyst. It’s the Hustle and Hard Work, It’s Felons helping Felons.”
