Abortion Rally at Minnesota State Capitol on July 18th, 2022 (CBS, provided)
ST. PAUL – While abortion remains legal in Minnesota, supporters of abortion rights say they’ll remain diligent as the November elections approach.
Thousands of people marched to the Minnesota Capitol Sunday to protest the overturning of Roe-V Wade. Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flannigan told the crowd that abortion is health care and that they will not “go quietly off into the night.”
In response to the rally, the group Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life issued a statement saying the organizers of Sunday’s rally want no limits at all on abortion.
