APPLE VALLEY, MN – The ex-boyfriend of a woman killed in a shootout in Apple Valley is charged with second-degree assault and reckless use of a weapon.
On July Tenth, 39-year-old Willie Selmon the Second arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s house to retrieve personal items when he got into an armed confrontation with the woman’s son, 25-year-old Billy Joe Pryor, Junior.
The two shot at each other while 49-year-old Michelle McGill was sitting inside a car on the property. She was shot ten times and died at the scene — McGill was Pryor’s mother and Selmon’s ex.
Pryor has also been arrested and police could later file murder charges against one or both men.
