GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – The whereabouts of a missing 18-year-old military dependent who left her family campground on the Grand Forks Air Force Base earlier this week remains unknown.
Members of the military and volunteers conducted a grid search on the installation yesterday, and those living in base housing and dormitories were asked to check all yards, garages and rooms. The case has been handed over to the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities say Hailey Sullivan is 5-foot-2 with brown hair and glasses and wearing blue jeans. She has an intellectual disability and responds to the nickname Hei-Hei.
The base is asking the public to report anyone matching this description to local law enforcement — or the command post at 701-747-6711.
