FARGO (KFGO) – The Fargo Police Department is informing the public that Ethan James Bendickson, a High-Risk Sex Offender, has absconded and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Bendickson, a 5’11”, 36-year-old Native American weighing 190 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Bendickson was convicted on October 14, 2016, in Federal Court of Abusive Sexual Contact of a Minor. The female victim was under the age of 15 and was known to him. Bendickson is a lifetime registrant.
If a member of the public locates Bendickson, they are advised to refrain from approaching or attempting to apprehend him.
Members of the public are encouraged to call 9-1-1 and relay relevant information with accurate details (such as the location Bendickson was last seen, the last known direction of travel, descriptions of the clothing he was wearing and information about anyone who may have been accompanying Bendickson).
