The Moorhead DQ is a throwback to the old time ice cream shop. If you turned on some Bryan Adam’s Summer of ’69 you’d have a hard time convincing me it’s 2022.

Honestly without comparing I’d say even the prices are a little easier on the pocket book than most of the other modern ice cream shops.

The placement right between Main Ave and the rail road tracks gives an added sensory bonus of sights, sounds…along with the legendary taste of the Moorhead DQ.  You should read up on the history of this Moorhead landmark. Opening in 1948!

It’s like a trip to a museum with food! It makes the ice cream sweeter, the chocolate a little richer.
