FERGUS FALLS, MINN. (KFGO) – The Midwest Medical Examiners Office has identified the body of a man found in the Otter Tail River in Fergus Falls Saturday but the name is being withheld until the family can be notified.
Police have been working with authorities in New York state on identifying the victim and locating family. Police say the man had lived in Fergus Falls for several months and had indicated to acquaintances earlier this spring that he was thinking of moving back east.
Foul play is not involved in the death.
Final autopsy results are pending toxicology reports.
