FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo Force have dismissed head coach Scott Langer after just one season.
The Force are reportedly nearing a deal to tab St. Cloud State assistant and Roseau High graduate Nick Oliver as their next head coach.
Langer arrived in Fargo after coaching the Aberdeen Wings, where he won a Robertson Cup as North American Hockey League champions in 2019.
The Force clinched the five seed in the USHL’s Western Division after going 28-28-4 in the regular season.
Omaha swept Fargo in the first round of the Clark Cup playoffs earlier this week.
