FARGO (KFGO) – A house fire in Fargo quickly spread to another neighboring home and damaged the siding of a third home.
The initial blaze, at 2282 57th Avenue S, was reported shortly before noon Monday.
En route, fire crews were told that the blaze had spread to a neighboring home.
The houses on that block are of similar design. A ladder truck was used to get at the flames on the roof of the house where the fire started, and crews were able to knock the fire down within 30 minutes of arriving on scene. That home had significant damage. The homeowner was home at the time but she was able to get out safely and were no reports of any injuries as a result of the blaze.
Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson said investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
