FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State senior forward Rocky Kreuser will participate in the 2022 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament this weekend in Portsmouth, Va. Kreuser’s games will take place Thursday through Saturday, Apr. 14-16.
The PIT is an invitation-only event to showcase 64 of the nation’s top college basketball seniors from all divisions in a four-day, 12-game tournament in front of representatives from every NBA team. Scouts from numerous international leagues are also in attendance at Portsmouth.
Ben Woodside participated in the event following his senior season in 2009, and Taylor Braun played at Portsmouth in 2014.
Kreuser was named to the All-Summit League first team in back-to-back seasons. He played in a school record 158 games during his career, becoming only the second player in NDSU history to accumulate more than 1,600 points, 800 rebounds, and 100 blocks as a Bison.
This year, Kreuser became the 20th player in NDSU history to score 500 points in a season. He averaged 15.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game over his final two seasons.
