BRAINERD, Minn. – There’s a ribbon-cutting in Brainerd today for the newly remodeled Minnesota National Guard Armory.
Lieutenant Colonel Troy Fink says it’s an eco-friendly building that will enhance training, bring new capabilities to the area, and contribute to the mission readiness of the soldiers. Some of the upgrades include a hybrid heat pump mechanical system, efficient L-E-D lighting, and a solar panel field.
The Brainerd armory also houses the Bataan Memorial Museum.
