BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The suspect arrested in a Bismarck shooting Wednesday morning has been identified.
26-year-old Kyle Riley from Bismarck is under arrest for the murder of a 22-year-old man in a morning shooting that took place in a Hawken St. apartment complex parking lot.
Bismarck Police responded to Hawken and Stevens Streets around 8:50am for reports of gunshots in the area. A witness to the murder informed officers that Riley shot the man out of the window of a truck. An individual matching Riley’s description got into a passenger car as a passenger around 12:30 pm and left that area. Riley was taken into custody after a traffic stop and was taken for questioning.
Riley and the 22-year-old victim knew each other. Riley is being held on a charge of murder.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The Bismarck Police Department is investigating a homicide that left a 22-year-old man dead Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a parking lot in the 2700 block of Stevens St. for a report of shots fired shortly before 9 a.m. They arrived to find a man dead from a gunshot wound. Residents in the area reported hearing screams and gunshots. Detectives are currently investigating the scene, and following up on leads.
Police say this was a targeted attack on the individual and the suspect is still at large.
Investigators are asking people in the area to contact Bismarck Police if there is any video evidence from doorbell cameras or home surveillance.
