GRAND FORKS (KFGO) – UND is expected to announce additional relaxations in COVID-19 protocols on Wednesday.
During an online video message today (Tue), University President Andrew Armacost said that UND would ease mask requirements in public spaces. Armacost said UND is moving from a “pandemic” to an “endemic” mode.
Late last month, UND announced that masks would be encouraged, but not required, in many indoor public places … but masks would be required in classrooms, student health services, the children’s learning center, COVID testing sites at Pollard Center and Wilkerson Commons… and certain educational spaces.
The February announcement also said masks are still required while in line at Wilkerson Dining and at first-floor dining spaces in the Union.
