FARGO, ND – The Kindred Vikings topped the Northern Cass Jaguars 77-46 to win the North Dakota Class B Region 1 Girls’ basketball championship Saturday night.
Kindred senior Abigail Duchscherer led all scorers with 26 points. Senior Terryn Johnson added 11 points and sophomore Peyton Gette put up 10 points.
Northern Cass was led by Allie Slinger with 13 points.
The Jaguars’ season comes to an end with a record of 18-5.
The Vikings improve to 23-0 on the season and will move on to the North Dakota Class B State Tournament March 3-5 at the Betty Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.
