
David Cook will be NDSU's next President
FARGO (KFGO Prairie Public Radio) – The new president of North Dakota State University will receive a salary of $420,000 annually, a significant raise from that of his predecessor.
Dr. David Cook will start at NDSU in June. His previous position was Vice Chancellor for the Office of Public Affairs and Economic Development at the University of Kansas.
Current NDSU President Dean Bresciani and UND President Andrew Armacost both make around $370,000 a year. The Chancellor of the university system, Mark Hagerott, is paid $389,000. The state’s highest paid public employee is the dean of UND’s medical school, Dr. Joshua Wynne, who earned over $700,000 last year.
