DULUTH, Minn. – Mayor Emily Larson says she’ll let Duluth’s 30-day mask mandate expire at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
All public spaces, including restaurants, grocery stores, and businesses are affected. Larson says her decision is based on conversations with health care providers and business groups, plus data from the county, state, and Mayo Clinic.
The mayor says as the mask order is lifted, “it’s really important to remember we are not done with COVID,” and Larson adds businesses and organizations will be back to determine their own course of action on masking.
