MORRISON COUNTY, Minn. – One state senator suffered multiple injuries, while another was unharmed following a snowmobile crash Friday afternoon.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at around 12:45 p-m on a snowmobile trail in Scandia Valley Township. Assistant Majority Leader Senator John Jasinski of Faribault was taken to the hospital and treated for three broken ribs, a broken pelvis, and fractured vertebrae.
Senator Mark Johnson from East Grand Forks was also involved — but not injured.
