ST. PAUL, Minn – Flags are flying at half-staff in Minnesota today in honor of a fallen Morrison County firefighter.
Upsala Fire Captain Brian Lange died December 11th of an illness suffered in the line of duty. The order from Governor Walz says the State of Minnesota recognizes Captain Lange for his dedicated service to, and sacrifice for, his fellow Minnesotans, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the entire community.
Lange served 22 years with the Upsala Fire Department, the last six as captain. He’s survived by his wife, two daughters, and a granddaughter.
