STOCKTON, Calif. (NDSU Athletics)– The North Dakota State men’s basketball team earned a 73-61 road victory over Pacific on Friday night to wrap up the non-conference portion of the season. NDSU improved to 8-4 overall.
Senior forward Rocky Kreuser recorded his fifth double-double of the season, putting up 24 points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots. Tyree Eady added 14 points, five rebounds and four assists for NDSU.
The Bison connected on 11-of-28 attempts from three-point range (39 percent) and shot 45 percent overall for the contest. NDSU limited Pacific to 34-percent shooting and only 4-of-18 from beyond the arc.
NDSU led for nearly 35 minutes of the game, pushing its advantage to as many as 18 points at 62-44 in the second half. The Bison were up 49-43 with 10 minutes remaining before posting a 7-0 run.
Seven different Bison made at least one three-pointer in the game, with Kreuser, Eady, Jarius Cook and Willie Guy all draining a pair.
Freshman forward Joshua Streit pulled down five rebounds in eight minutes of action for NDSU.
The Bison will open Summit League play at home on Wednesday, Dec. 22, against North Dakota.
