GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 7 North Dakota will look to close out the first half of the regular season in the same place it ended the 2020-21 year, in first place of the NCHC standings with a pair of contests at Colorado College on Friday and Saturday from Ed Robson Arena in Colorado Springs.
Friday will be the 262nd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Colorado College, with UND holding a 166-84-11 advantage in the series.
The teams met four times last season, with the Fighting Hawks sweeping all four contests against the Tigers. UND finished with a 14-2 scoring advantage in those four games.
Last year’s sweep at CC was the first since 2015 and only the sixth since 1990.
The 166 wins over Colorado College are the most over a single opponent in the history of the program.
Both games can be heard on the Mighty 790 and 104.7 KFGO. Friday’s game will be at 7:30 pm, and Saturday’s coverage begins at 6:30 pm.
