FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – The City of Fargo will host a ribbon-cutting for its first electric vehicle (EV) charger on Thursday, December 2nd.
Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney and Xcel Energy North Dakota Principal Manager Tony Grindberg will provide comments before the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors initiate the ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. at Fargo City Hall. The Fargo Sustainability and Resiliency Committee and Fargo Public Works Department leadership will assist in the dedication.
The City of Fargo collaborated with Xcel Energy to complete this grant-funded project. The EV charger will supply electrical power for charging plug-in electric vehicles, including hybrid cars and trucks.
