GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After a sweep over Niagara to open the home slate and regular season, No. 7/6 North Dakota hits the road for the first time for a showdown against No. 20/RV Bemidji State on Friday night from the Sanford Center before returning home for a contest vs. the Beavers on Saturday.
All UND men’s hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, including the Mighty 790 KFGO and 104.7 FM. Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.
UND has won 33 of the 43 all-time matchups with the Beavers and is unbeaten in the last seven at home (5-0-2).
North Dakota has also had plenty traveling east on Highway 2 to play the Beavers, posting a 10-2-2 record in Bemidji.
UND helped spoil the opening of the Sanford Center back in 2010, sweeping BSU by a pair of 5-2 scores. North Dakota is 5-2-2 in the Sanford Center.
