Tom Hoge finished tied for 36th at the opening tournament of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season, the Fortinet Championship, shooting -7. He earned $32,608 out of a $6.6 million purse.
Hoge shot three consecutive under par rounds to begin the tournament but struggled in the final round, shooting a 3 over 75. He only collected one birdie in the final frame and posted two bogeys and one double-bogey.
Hoge hit 62% of greens in regulation and posted a 48% driving accuracy.
Max Homa won his third career PGA Tour event, shooting -19. The next tour event will be the Sanderson Farms Championships Sept. 30-Oct. 3, following the Ryder Cup this weekend.
