KILLDEER, ND (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that a three-vehicle crash near Killdeer, ND has killed a Dickinson, ND woman.
The woman was headed north on highway 22 when 33-year-old Carl Aberle II from Center, ND AND 32-year-old Curtis Ylitalo from Dickinson were headed south on Highway 22. The woman then crossed the center line and sideswiped Aberle. The woman spun in the highway before being struck head on by the Ylitalo.
The Dickinson woman was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Aberle was not injured, and Ylitalo suffered minor injuries.
The woman’s name will be released after her family is notified. The crash remains under investigation.
