ST. PAUL, Minn. – StubHub will pay Minnesotans who were denied ticket refunds due to COVID-19 nearly one-point-nine-million dollars.
Attorney General Keith Ellison announced the settlement Thursday. Fifty-five-hundred consumers bought tickets for events in Minnesota that were canceled during the pandemic and StubHub refused to refund their money.
Ellison says Minnesotans should not lose money when a service they paid for was never provided. He says this settlement ensures StubHub will honor its refund policies now and in the future.
Nine other states and Washington, D-C were part of the investigation.
