With the 2021 NFL season officially underway, North Dakota State keeps churning out NFL talent at a remarkable clip.
Nine former Bison football players are currently listed on an active roster. NDSU’s representation in the pro ranks leads all Division I FCS schools.
Quarterback Carson Wentz looks to rebound after a disappointing 2020 by starting fresh with the Colts. His successor at NDSU, Easton Stick, is in his third season with the Chargers.
Billy Turner enters his third season with the Packers’ and will be their starting right tackle. Joe Haeg signed with Pittsburgh after winning a Super Bowl last season with the Buccaneers.
Linebacker Chris Board is an integral part of a Ravens defense that was second in points allowed last year. Rookie linebacker Jabril Cox was drafted by the Cowboys after spending his final collegiate season with LSU as a graduate transfer.
Rookie Trey Lance arrived in San Francisco to much fanfare and is being groomed to take over as the 49ers’ next franchise quarterback. Dillon Radunz was drafted by the Titans this spring in the second round and is currently slotted as their backup right guard.
Tight end Ben Ellefson was signed by the Vikings after being waived by the Jaguars during final cuts.
