BUFFALO, Minn. – Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley is done serving his sentence for making threats of violence last fall.
Beasley was released from the Wright County Jail Tuesday after serving 78 days of a 120-day sentence. Plymouth police said Beasley pointed a gun at a family in a car that mistakenly stopped in his driveway on the Parade of Homes last September.
The N-B-A suspended him for 12 games following his guilty plea to felony charges. Beasley averaged just under 20 points in 37 games for the Wolves last season.
