fire damages apartment bldg. in Fergus Falls
FERGUS FALLS, Minn (KFGO) – An apartment fire in Fergus Falls did about $75,000 in damages.
The fire started in an upstairs apartment of the three-unit building on the west side of Fergus Falls Tuesday evening. Smoke was showing from the attic vents and eves when the first crews arrived.
The cause of the fire was wiring for a light fixture in the apartment. The blaze, at 726 Stanton Ave. W, was under control after about 30 minutes. There were no injuries.
The Elizabeth Fire Department assisted while the Underwood Fire Department provided additional call coverage at the Fergus Falls Fire Station.
