STRASBURG, N.D. (KFGO) – The name of the pilot who died when his crop-spraying plane crashed in a field in southern North Dakota has been released.
The state patrol says he was 63-year-old Michel Gunia of Linton. Gunia’s plane struck a high voltage transmission line shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday southwest of Strasburg.
He died at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the patrol, FAA and Emmons County Sheriff’s Office.
