GRAND FORKS, ND (KFGO) – A blown tire is blamed for starting a fire south of Grand Forks on Sunday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the vehicle was heading south around 2:00 p.m. pulling a trailer when the tire blew. The vehicle continued on I-29 near MM 136 until MM 134. The NDHP says sparks from the wheel set the west ditch on fire.
