FARGO, ND – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks rallied for a 6-4 victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs Tuesday night.
The RedHawks got on the board in the bottom of the third inning when Correlle Prime scored on a Manny Boscan RBI triple to take a 1-0 lead.
The Saltdogs evened things up at 1-1 when Edgar Corcino scored on a wild pitch by RedHawks starter Ryan Flores in the top of the fifth inning.
Lincoln took a lead in the top of the sixth inning starting with a Corcino 2RBI single that plated Curt Smith and David Vidal. Skylar Weber drove in Yanio Perez to lift the Saltdogs to a 4-1 lead.
The RedHawks took a lead back in the home half of the sixth inning beginning with Boscan driving in Sam Dexter cutting the Saltdogs lead to 4-2. A Leo Pina RBI double scored Prime to get the ‘Hawks within a run, trailing 4-3. Dylan Kelly knocked in Boscan, Pina, and Jordan George to take a 6-4 lead after six innings.
The RedHawks and Saltdogs are back in action Wednesday night, Jack Michaels will have the call, pregame at 6:40 p.m. first pitch 7:02 p.m. on 740 The Fan and 107.3FM.
