WEST FARGO (KFGO) – At least for now, the West Fargo School District will not require face coverings for students and staff when the new school year begins.
The district’s Return to Learn Advisory Committee has overwhelmingly recommended that face coverings will be optional for students, employees and visitors. They’ll still be required on district-provided transportation, which is regulated by the federal government.
The district also says a Covid-19 vaccination will not be required for attendance or participation in events.
The Fargo School District has not made a decision as it plans for the new school year. The Moorhead School District is awaiting recommendations from the state department of health and education.
