The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks had 13 hits, including 2 Home Runs, and scored 7 runs in the first game of 3 in Wisconsin against the Milwaukee Milkmen but couldn’t keep up in a high-scoring contest. The Milkmen had 12 hits of their own with 3 Home Runs and scored 9 to win the first match against the RedHawks. Milwaukee LF Adam Brett Walker II continued his hot streak hitting his 4th Home Run in 2 games to increase his lead league to 14 Home Runs on the year.
With the loss, the RedHawks fall to 2 games behind Milwaukee who leads the division. The two teams will face off 5 more times over the next 2 weeks.
The winning pitcher for the Milkmen was Misael Siverio who picked up his first win on the season. The loosing pitcher for the RedHawks was Austin Ver Steeg who fell to 0-2 on the season. Nate Hadley picked up his 4th save of the season for Milwaukee.
The RedHawks face the Milkmen again Satruday evening as the pregame show starts at 5:40 p.m. and the game starts at 6:00 p.m. on 740 The Fan.
