BISMARCK, N.D. – West Fargo Sheyenne won their first boys golf championship in program history on Wednesday from Hawktree Golf Club.
The Mustangs finished three strokes ahead of Grand Forks Red River and five strokes ahead of Fargo Davies.
Minot’s Gavin Argent won the individual medalist after beating out Zach Hinschberger of Grand Forks Red River in the second playoff hole.
It’s Minot’s first individual medalist since 2016 when Cody Reynolds won.
Argent was named Senior Athlete of the Year and Fargo North’s Mike Dobberstein was named Coach of the Year.
