MINNEAPOLIS – Family and friends are saying goodbye Wednesday to a six-year-old girl who died after a Minneapolis shooting last month.
The funeral for Aniya Allen is underway at at Shiloh Temple on the city’s North Side. Aniya was hit by a bullet in her mother’s car as she was eating a McDonald’s Happy Meal and died two days later. There have been no arrests in her murder.
Aniya is one of three children struck by gunfire in Minneapolis over the last month.
