The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks had a slow start on the sticks but got them going as they scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th, 3 in the top of the 8th, and 1 in the top of the 9th. After getting down 2-0 they were able to bounce back in Kansas City as they improve to 3-2 on the young season.
Bret Helton picked up the win for the RedHawks pitching 6 complete innings. Jameson McGrane took the loss for the Monarchs as they fall to 1-3 on the season.
