MINNEAPOLIS – Passengers say their plane was taking off last Wednesday at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport when an emergency exit door made a loud noise as it broke off.
The eight passengers on the Boutique Airlines flight headed to Ironwood, Michigan weren’t hurt. Tom Yon of Michigan was sitting next to the exit. He says it happened so fast he didn’t see his carry-on bag get sucked out. The plane aborted the takeoff and returned to the gate.
The door was found nearby and Yon got his bag back.
