The Minnesota Twins were set to continue their series with the Los Angels Angels on Saturday before news broke of COVID-19 contract tracing within the organization.
The Twins made announcement on Twitter just over an hour before the game was set to get underway in California.
Tonight’s scheduled game between the Angels and the Twins at Angel Stadium has been postponed to allow for continued testing and contact tracing involving members of the Twins organization. Major League Baseball will continue to provide updates as available.

Los Angeles won the opening game of the series on Friday 10-3.
In addition to the previous postponement of tonight’s game, Sunday’s scheduled game between the Angels & #MNTwins has been postponed to allow for continued testing and contact tracing involving members of the Twins organization. MLB will continue to provide updates.

The Twins have their next scheduled game on Monday against the Athletics in Oakland.
