FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at the Grand Inn Hotel at 3402 14th Avenue South in Fargo at 4:48 a.m. this morning.
When firefighters arrived there was fire coming through a window of a second floor room that was completely involved. A second alarm was called because of the potential for a large number of rescues. Crews were able to make a quick knock down within about seven minutes of the first engine’s arrival. A search of the entire building found no one as all occupants had all evacuated on their own.
The cost to repair the damage is initially estimated at $25,000.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
