MINOT, N.D. – Authorities say several people were injured when an SUV rear-ended a South Prairie school bus five miles south of Minot.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the school bus had slowed down to turn left on U.S. Highway 83 Tuesday afternoon when the collision occurred. Patrol Sgt. Kevin Huston says three people in the SUV were injured and at least two people on the bus were hurt. The extent of their injuries was not known.
A spare bus was brought in to take some of the students home and others were picked up by their parents
