FARGO (KFGO) – Legendary KFGO broadcaster Tom Wynn has died.
Wynn, who retired from KFGO in July 2017, passed away in the Twin Cities where he had moved last June to be closer to family.
Wynn hosted “Tom Wynn and Friends” from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. with Bonnie Amistadi and Doug Leier until his retirement. Prior to that, he partnered with the late Larry Ristvedt for “Tom and Larry in the Morning.” Ristvedt, KFGO Farm and Ranch Director, retired in 2010 and passed away three years later.
Wynn worked in Minneapolis radio in the early days of his career and came to KFGO from Lansing, Mich. in 1979. He spent 60 years in radio and worked at KFGO for 37 years.
Wynn was 83.
