MINNEAPOLIS – (KFGO) Fox Sports North is no more.
Fox Sports North is rebranding to Bally Sports North after the sale of all Fox Sports regional network stations to Sinclair Broadcasting. The regional networks were sold to Bally’s.
The names and faces broadcasting Twins games will remain mostly unchanged. Dick Bremer will be the television broadcast announcer, and he’ll be joined by commentators Roy Smalley, Justin Morneau and LaTroy Hawkins. Bremer appears weekly on KFGO.
Some fans are frustrated because Bally Sports Network is currently now available through many streaming services, including YouTube and Hulu. Many cable systems will still carry the games.
The first game day broadcast on Bally Sports Network is Thurs. when the Twins visit the Milwaukee Brewers with first pitch at 1:10 p.m.
The game will be heard on 790 KFGO AM, 94.1 FM and 104.7 FM.
